...alas, is still a WIP. When the Etsy BeadWeavers August challenge was announced, I thought about entering my "Metropolis" bracelet , but I knew it wouldn't qualify because I had made it earlier in the year. I started toying around with my old version of BeadTool design program and decided to expand my pattern which I had previously drawn by hand. I chose three DB colors: -12, -21 and 70 for no particular reason, just that they looked art deco-ish to me and started coloring just like a little kid (I am so going to get hooked on playing with BeadTool!). What you see is the result of my coloring and the unfinished work, as usual, couldn't finish in time for the deadline. I wanted to be among all the fabulous creations by the other Etsy BeadWeavers in the current monthly challenge.

The Etsy Beadweavers are seeing "red" with their latest beadweaving challenge and voting begins Monday, January 7th. This month's challenge focuses on the use of the color red in any and all forms of beadweaving. There are beautiful and striking articles of jewelry as well as sculptural and useful pieces. A warning though, you are going to have a very difficult time choosing a favorite !
